A North Carolina man who lives about 120 miles west of Raleigh is facing a long list of criminal charges. The 27-year-old Salisbury man was recently arrested for attempted assault; he was already facing much more serious charges from previous arrests, officials said.
Back in 2014 and 2015, he was arrested on child pornography charges, as well as taking indecent liberties with a child, sexual exploitation of a minor and rape of a child, among other accusations.
He was first taken into custody back in 2014, accused of posting photos of nude girls on social media sites. Law enforcement officials say that in 2015, he was charged with:
- 2nd Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor: the Class E felony involved allegations that he solicited an explicit photo from an 11-year-old girl
- Indecent Liberties with a Child: the Class F felony charge revolved around alleged "immoral, improper, and indecent liberties" with an 11-year-old
- Indecent Liberties with a Child: this time he was accused of taking liberties with a 13-year-old female
- 1st Degree Rape of a Child: a Class B1 felony for allegedly having carnal knowledge of a person under age 13
He was also accused of disseminating obscene material to a minor, and two counts of 2nd degree sexual exploitation of a minor for soliciting nude photos from a 12-year-old and a 17-year-old.
Clearly, if convicted on all charges, he would face years in prison.
