Arrest follows sex offenses charges against North Carolina woman

It is important that true victims of crimes receive the justice they deserve. While a thorough investigation may be warranted, however, accusations alone should not result in charges and especially should not result in a conviction unless there is sufficient evidence to support such accusations. Although a woman in North Carolina has recently been arrested on charges related to sex offenses, it is unclear what evidence detectives have to support these charges.

Woman faces criminal charges after homicide

When a suspicious death death occurs, authorities must work to figure out the cause of the death and the events leading up to it. By providing answers and assigning blame, police are hoping to provide surviving loved ones with a sense of justice and restore a sense of safety in the community. However, a homicide investigation is complex and often requires time in order to answer all the questions stemming from a death. One woman in North Carolina has recently found herself facing criminal charges after police were called to the scene of an alleged shooting.

5 arrested on charges involving statutory sex offenses

Four North Carolina men and a woman have been arrested and are now facing charges of sex crimes. The investigation was launched in September after the state's Department of Social Services says it became aware of statutory sex offenses involving against two girls who claimed that they were prostituted to older men by their mother. Both girls are reportedly under the age of 16. According to the teenagers, this has been going on since the beginning of this year.
